WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Competition Project
This project was completed during the 45th WorldSkills Competition in Kazan, Russia, where Tony proudly represented Canada in the Masonry trade. After earning his place through provincial and national competitions, he competed alongside the world’s best young masons in one of the most prestigious skilled trades events in the world.
Designed to challenge every aspect of a mason’s abilities, this competition project features decorative brickwork, complex bond patterns, corbelled details, precision cuts, and architectural elements that demanded exceptional accuracy and craftsmanship. Every brick was laid under strict time limits and evaluated against rigorous international judging standards, where even the smallest details made a difference.
Competing on the world stage reflects Tony’s commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and passion for the masonry trade. The same precision, pride, and dedication demonstrated in this project continue to shape every residential and commercial project he completes today.
